The One with the soccer matches at Germany

The aim of this post is to conduct a more-or-less full evaluation of points I thought were important, especially during this World Cup fever.. ( eiceh..hehehe).If i do offense anyone, I apologise.hehehe.I came up with this top 5 list why i have this-love-hate-relationship with this year 2006 World Cup.

My TOP 5 LISTS:

1. Clash with my favourite Grand Slams, Wimbledon. Yeah, you will see me screaming my lungs out at my housemates..fighting over the remote control..eheheh..

2. People who know nothing about the sport and never really bother to watch it in the first place and all of a sudden, there's a huge influx of football pundits. Even the ladies can annoy me sometime, they will come up with all kinds of lines such as:

" i memang sokong Brazil dari dulu lagi..ko tak tau ke? "---> yeah right!!

" i suka England sebab style diorang terror main " ---> i know that you are drooling over Beckham and praying for his short being pull to his undies..believe me heheh )

this breed of people will pop up during World Cup and Euro..trust me!

3. How my colleagues will go and say,

"yeah ..tengok tuh..pemain Liverpool jugak yang score! "

( Gerrard scored during the second match ) --> please..this is World Cup, and not EPL, put aside your favourite team and start support your favourite country!

4. There will be no other channel at home, everyone will watch Channel 80 and the rest of the channel that is dedicated to World Cup.! Sad to say. majority win. huhuh

5. World Cup will overshadow and take all the limelight,from the bombing in Iraq and maybe from Sharapova winning another Wimbledon title perhaps?
( fingers cross..hehe )

p/s: I still watch some of the matches though..hehehe
