It's the battle of the babes. Blond vs brunette. World number 5, Maria Sharapova will face World Number 3, Ana Ivanovic in the Australian Open 2008 Women's Single Final. In today semifinal, the glamour girl of tennis, Maria Sharapova showed no sympathy as she dismantled the number 3 seed, Jelena Jankovic. She reproduced the devastating form that blew away World's Number 1 in today's semifinal match. The other finalist, Ana Ivanovic also produced one of her best tennis moment when she did a comeback from eight games down to beat Slovak Daniela Hantuchova and set up an intriguing Australian Open final against Maria Sharapova. The 'IT' Girl of tennis title is up for stake. Based on Maria's current form, I can guarantee that the title is pretty much hers, her third Grand Slam title. My prediction, Maria in straight sets, 6-2, 6-3.
