The One with air pisang

The implementation of the APMS project finished last two days and thank god, I'm so glad about it. The three weeks of doing the graveyard shift and dare i say slaving my ass off for my company has finally taken its toll on me and the rest of my colleagues. Now the 30y/o plus colleagues are hornier than ever, oogle girls as if wanting to pounce on them..heheh..not to mention girls with big bust..drooling la kot..heheh..as for me..i hardly sleep at night now, suffering from sleep deprivation kot..the earliest i can catch my sleep is around 3am and my body ache all over. eerghh..Since we couldnt get any tickets yesterday (open dated one you see), now i have a great excuse to lay aound the apartment doing nothing (besides jollying the petty cash) but just online online and stay online! ;P

Yea, the Sibu trip was a blast! The journey itself is a one to remember. Where in the world where you can get weird names such as Lachau ( ring any bell, dirty one perhaps?), Melayu Ikit, Etaban and many more. Those are the names of kampungs that we passed along the so called Borneo highway on the way to Sibu. The last time i made a visit to Sibu was 8 years ago and by the time i reached Sibu i was in awe, the town center changed a lot! No longer dirty pedestrian walk, now palm trees along the road with lightings,cafes stuffs, very nice indeed. At least the coucil there is doing their job unlike certain council in Peninsular * cough* MPAJ *cough*. :P

The reason why it took me another 8 years to visit Sibu is that i have no reason to be there anymore since my late grandparents passed away few years ago. Their house is where i used to spent my school holiday kecik2 dulu. To tell you the truth, if you want to experience how life was 50 years ago, you should come to my late grandma's house. Everything is back to basic, dapur kayu api and the best part, no proper sanitary system. You just poop at the so called loo and once you poop, you can see and say bye bye to your poo once it float gracefully on the river.(definetly my first science class where i can learn buoyancy and newton's first lawof motion) hehehe. Sounds gross right, but i did that many many times mase kecik dulu.heheeh. But that was 10 years ago. The house changed alot sinced then.Proper toilet,and it is equip with one astro dish and one huge parabola infront of the yard. Not to mention the 3 Series BWM and the Toyota Vios in the garage. If my gradparents are still alive by now, I'm very sure that there are proud to see that their children and grandchildren are very succesfull person now.

Yeah, one more thing not to be miss when i'm in Sibu. This is the most wajib-bal-ghunnah thing to do, which is to drink the famous air botol Sibu. You wont get it anywhere in the world.Seriously! Even La Bodega's cocktail lists couldnt come close to this famous taste of air botol Sibu. hehehe. Its a carbonated drink but with less gas.So you would fell less gassy after drinking it, even after few bottles.It comes with many flavours, ie, orange, soda,. My all time favourite is air pisang. Its green in colour and to be honest, it is the best flavour ever! The bottle definitely reminds you of a cheap alcoholic drink that will get you feel tipsy for sure, hehehe. I even tapau few bottles for my sisters back in KL. My mum once told me that this air botol exist when she was still a kid, and that was in the late 50's! Hebat...erk.noticed this entry is kinda nostalgic one eh?. huhuhu. Sure i give Sibu another visit next year. :)
