In our Malaysian mythology, Pontianak means a female vampire, who died during giving birth to her child. In this case..Meriam passed away after giving birth to Maria..
If you're a big fan of the series Charmed..the female vampire aka banshee did a few cameo in the episodes..heheeh..tuh mungkin omputeh nyer version..
Finally..get to watched PHSM II today with a good friend of mine..
The pontianak's mission this time..still the same..( yawn ) to seek revenge on her murderers..
few scenes got me confused...
i was like.."ape nih.?? "..and again..i was like "camne bleh terbang siang2 hari?? "
the sequel to me its like a cross between our local horror movie and any typical japan/korean movie,
why? hiding under the table scene..the crawling scenes..very the japan-nish/korean-nish nyer horror movie...( betul ke ape aku tulis nih??)

i wanted to do a review of the movie... but i think its not worth writing about it la. mmg la terperanjat jak dgn scene2 yg dia muncul bawah meja la, tepi pintu ler.. tapi the scene continuity is weak, plus ada scene yg kuku pontianak yg panjang dan plastic tercabut, masa dia ambik Ana punya baby, post editing dia alamak haiyo... tak nampak ke? tapi kira ok laa.. nak hentam lebih2 pun filem kita jugak kan?! at least i watch it in the cinema... btw tak sabar nak tunggu Narnia...
watched it about a week ago... i think the word that i can use to describe it is "berserabut". or "inconsistent". i think it's both berserabut and inconsistent. so it's two words la actually.. ;P
p.s: if i calculate correctly, 'maria' should be about 46 years old in 2005. she must have used SKII with pitera or something to have remained looking like a 26 year old... eheh

the kuda kepang part..i was like aiyoo..
and then kantoi part the pontianak terbang..can see baju pontianak tuh hanging out a bit becoz of the cable..
nyesal i put high expectation for this movie..hehe
